\nArchie Roach was one of Australia\u2019s most treasured performers. He recorded award-winning albums for nearly 30 years. From his debut album, Charcoal Lane, to his latest release, Archie Roach: The Concert Collection 2012-2018, he continued to write songs that get to the heart of what it means to be human. Archie, a singer, songwriter, and champion of First Nations, praised as a \u201ccourageous\u201d and \u201cpowerful\u201d truth-teller, by many political leaders and artists, left us on 30 July. The death of the much revered Gunditjmara-Bundjalung elder was confirmed by his sons Amos and Eban Roach. Goosebumps guaranteed.

Jepson is Canadian, born and raised in Mission, British Columbia, one of the 25 oldest communities in the province. Aa a child, she had a passion for musical theatre and, in 2007, finished 5th in Canadian Idol. She continued her studies at the Canadian College for the Performing Arts and moved to Vancouver after her graduation. By May 2015 she had sold 15 million records worldwide. Her 5th studio album,\u00a0The Loneliest Time,\u00a0<\/em>from which \u2018Beach House\u2019 is outsourced, is out on 21 October. (sgs)

He also launched the careers of many jazz musicians including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, John McLaughlin and many more.
