Dave Matthews Band
Walk Around the Moon
In Charlottesville, Virginia, in early 1991, when vocalist/guitarist Dave Matthews decided to tape some songs he had written.,he found assistance in drummer Carter Beauford and saxophonist LeRoi Moore, both accomplished jazz musicians. Their bass player, Stefan Lessard was a musical prodigy and only sixteen. The lineup was completed by keyboard player Peter Griesar who left the band after a few years, and the classically trained violinist Boyd Tinsley.

The Smashing Pumpkins
ATUM
This third and last album of this operatic work is the Pumpkins twelfth studio album. It is a concept album and based on a lot of autobiographical data. The story has one foot in reality, and one foot in a world of make-belief. The Smashing Pumpkins are made up of Billy Corgan (vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards), Jimmy Chamberlin (drums), James Iha (guitar) and Jeff Schroeder (guitar). And as usual, they’re smashing it.
